Everyone come on out and have fun at our fall festival.  Food will be served.  There will be games and activities for the children and a trunk or treat.

Good for you chocolate cake?!

Here is a recipe that I promised some of you I would share! It is delicious!

Chocolate Zucchini Cake
1/2 cup soft margarine or butter
1 3/4 cup sugar, (I cut to 1 1/2 cups)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup veg. oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups finely diced or shredded zucchini

Toppings: 1/2 cup nuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Cream butter, vegetable oil and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Beat throughly. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in zucchini. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle top with topping. Bake at 325 for 50 minutes or until done.

 Sunday Sept. 8th  General meeting for everyone at the Wilder bldg. from 10-12noon.

 Sept. 14th Stake Temple Day.
 Make an appointment for the 3:30 or 5:00pm endowment session!

Sept. 19th  Relief Society Temple Night, 8pm session.

Sept. 20th. Ward Activity, dinner and dance, Wilder bldg. 

Sept. 28th- Building cleanup at 8:30 am. The Relief Society is in charge. Remember many hands make the work lighter!

Sept. 28th General Relief Society Broadcast, UTSA bldg. Dinner is at 5:00 and the broadcast begins at 7:00. Let's all sit together!

Fill-able Frame Printables
Taught by: Laura Umar
Share the love with your spouse and children or countdown to a special day or holiday with these printables. Frame each design (you provide the frame) and use a dry-erase marker to fill in the blank right on the glass. Then just wipe off to pen a new message each day. Amazing! These would make great gifts.

Plus..... A Flea Market Clothing Swap- It is time to clean out your closets and do some school shopping too! Bring clean used clothing for men, women, youth, and children to donate or swap. We will have tables for each category set up in the cultural hall all day.
